USPTO COVID-19 Response Resource Center

With an aim to improve communication with the public regarding COVID-19 initiatives, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) launched the COVID-19 Response Resource Center on June 3, 2020. In one webpage, the Center informs stakeholders about the actions the USPTO is taking regarding COVID-19 to accelerate innovation, to adapt to the crisis, and to promote new technologies.


Stakeholders can view information on the USPTO’s earlier announced initiatives such as “Patents 4 Partnerships” (an IP marketplace platform for licensing opportunities) and the COVID-19 Prioritized Examination Pilot Program (prioritized examination for inventions related to the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of COVID-19). The Center also provides access to information on trademark counterfeiting and consumer fraud and international updates related to the COVID-19 outbreak.
